I used to see them around March or April of the new year. I was seeing 2006 nickels in March 2006. In 2008, I didn't see any '08 coins until Memorial Day. In 2009, not a single '09 coin until July. As of now, August 2009, I can still count all the 2009 coins I've seen on one hand.
