So the wife calls to tell me she's going to grab something to eat before heading home… this means I'm on my own for food. So I did what any man would do when suddenly and unexpectedly faced with the need for supply his own nourishment. I headed for the drive thru. Taco Bell to be precise. Yep, it's quick, it's easy, it's cheap and it supplied a 1949 Nickel along with something that claimed to be food. I don’t know if it’s an indicator of how little most people pay attention to their change in general in Nickels in particular, or if it’s an indicator of rough economic times when people are prone to raiding the box/jar of old coins to make it through to the next pay check. Either way I’m not complaining. It was a pleasant surprise from an unexpected source.
