A little late with the morning post… had to take the Subaru in to the mechanics. The price tag for this round is going to eat into my coin budget a bit… ah well. On to today’s coin. Saturday 4/19, off to a local ‘family restaurant’ for a quick dinner. In my change I get my first 2008 coin. I never kept track before, but it surprises me that I went this long before finding on. And I have to say, while I’m not a big fan of the State Quarters, I rather like the reverse on this one. Not in a ‘classic’ coin design kind of way, but it is pretty, with good detail and not at all cluttered.
