I couldn’t find much (anything) particularly interesting about the 1989 Philadelphia Mint Quarter. Remembering 1989 I can’t help but think of it as, well, contemporary. And it never fails to surprise me to see the increase in value of high grade coins from within my own lifetime. No $15 isn’t very much, but it is sixty times the face value.
